Twenty years ago, Vicki Ballard began work as a secretary in a small, local insurance agency answering phones and getting to know customers. As she watched those customers, many of whom had just experienced loss or tragedy, being helped at critical times by insurance, she started to fall in love with her job.

Soon, she and her husband, Ronnie, were dreaming about opening their own agency. In July 1997, the dream was fufilled - The Ballard Insurance Agency opened for business.

Despite wonderful growth, the Ballard dream remains the same today as it was in the beginning. As Vicki says, "Our goal is to provide the ultimate customer service, for any and everyone who walks through our doors. We want our customers to know that we value their business and care about their lives - their satisfaction is our number one goal."

Ronnie and Vicki were both raised in Lamar County, Texas and have spent most of their lives right here.  They have two sons, Matthew, a graduate of The University of Texas, and Dylan, a senior at Paris High School. 

Ronnie and Vicki are very active, hard working community members. They are active in their church and serve our community by being involved with the following organizations: Lamar County Chamber of Commerce, The Salvation Army, The Boys and Girls Club of Red River Valley, The United Way, and The Greater Paris Rotary Club. They are both graduates of Leadership Lamar County.

Ronnie and Vicki are both members of the Independent Insurance Agents of Paris, and the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas.  Vicki has served on the Small Agency Advisory Council for the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas, helping small town agencies survive and thrive in the changing world of insurance.  They care about their community and their industry, and it shows in the service their agency provides.
